Hi! I’m Deborah
Our lives are meant to be connected. Celebrating each other; celebrating with each other. Not living in isolation and battling alone.
But if we are naturally more introverted or private, then surrounding ourselves with people all the time may not be the most effective way for us to connect. We might choose a different way. And we can.
There is more than just one way to be in this world with others in a way that nourishes them and ourselves. Who we are and what we find meaningful will influence the way we share and connect. What we consider important will point us in the direction of actions that allow us to connect with others in ways that we can sustain and allow us to feel authentic.
We can be intentional with our interactions with others, and we can enrich our lives and others, in a way that allows us to feel uplifted rather than wiped out.
Working in partnership with God helps guide me in everything I do. I’ve learned to listen to Him, and my life is the richer for it. When I listen and am open to not knowing everything and not judging, He can guide me to be a more loving presence in the world and to contribute to the lives of others and let them do the same for me. So I will be sharing resources to help you develop a closer relationship to God so he can speak directly with you. But you don’t have to be a Christian to gain value from this site. We will be exploring lots of different ways for you to connect with others in ways that bring you joy and deep satisfaction.

Your Turn
I’d love to hear about your journey of connecting with others. Are you so busy that trying to spend time with others feels too hard? Or, is it, that you struggle to reach out or to initiate conversations? Are you not sure what to say, or what to do? What is keeping you from making time for friendships and getting to know others better in your life? I’d love to hear your struggles and triumphs and where you are on the journey of living a life in community. Contact me here.
